Sad Day

My doctor told me that 25% of all women will miscarry their first baby in the first trimester. I am now a statistic. I was 5 weeks along when we miscarried, but I didn't find out until I was 6 weeks. We had been trying for 3 1/2 years when we finally got pregnant. I'm told that a miscarriage is not indicative that I will have a problem carrying a child full-term, so there is no reason to believe that we won't get pregnant again. I just really hope it doesn't take another 3 1/2 years. We need to wait until I've had one normal cycle before we can start trying again. I'm told it can take up to 2 to 3 months before I will start my period. So we can start trying in 3 to 4 months, roughly. Wow, what a journey this has been.
